Rural Sales

Privileged to have been born and raised in North Otago and resided in the region all my life, rural North Otago is special along with its people, stunning scenery and diversity, supporting in the main, intensive horticulture, dairying, cropping, sheep, beef and deer farming.

Married to Linda, a teacher for the past 35+ years within the Duntroon and Oamaru area as well as a local JP, together we have two adult daughters who completed their schooling in North Otago and furthered their studies at university and both are now part of the work force.

After my primary education at Duntroon school, I spent four years as a boarder at Waitaki Boys’ High School and attended Lincoln College. Returning home, work was in shearing gangs, contract fencing, wool classing, casual labouring and agricultural contracting. In the mid 1980’s, I started farming under my own account and have continued to do so, until just recently when I made the move into rural sales.

I have been a keen sportsman over the years and am still an active golfer here at Tokarahi. Being part of the community, I am still involved in the administration side of some local clubs and entities. Through farming, off farm interests, sport and community involvement, I’m well known throughout the North Otago area. I have been able to transfer my skillset and knowledge to my real estate career which has a significant benefit within the rural sector, to help my clients sell or buy.

Real Estate is no different to farming or business, in that it requires hard work, attention to detail, confidentiality and at times a sense of humour. I am only too happy to discuss and assist with any questions, thoughts or ideas about your future real estate plans in total confidentiality. Please feel free to contact me for all your requirements.
