VENDORS RETIRING - OPEN TO OFFERS
- 519 Gladfield Road, Drummond
The vendors converted this farm to a very high standard, no expense spared, with plenty of tender loving care and are continuously investing in and improving their farm!
Most things have been replaced, repaired or redone. There has been a lot of thought go into this development. The dairy shed is a 60 bail shed which allows plenty of room for the 54 bail platform, Waikato automated plant and wash, Protrack and in shed meal feeding. Large 15 metre circular yard with yard scrapper allowing easy flow to and from the dairy shed for a two herd system.
Calf milk is pumped underground to the calf sheds of which there are three all located very handy to the dairy shed. There are several implement sheds, a workshop, grain/fert bin, silage bunker and a silage pad.
Main homestead is a larger four bedroom with open plan living, dining, kitchen and a separate formal lounge all set in an amazing sheltered garden with a large new 'man shed'. There are three other homes on the farm for staff.
188 hectares of the total farm area was converted in 2008 and the balance converted in 2011, prior to this it was utilised as a heifer block. The present owners have said to us that its time to move on and they are genuine in their intent for this to happen.
This is a farm we can highly recommend that has genuine scope to increase production as the current owners have always wintered part of the herd on the farm and it has the infrastructure already in place to achieve this.
The vendors are exiting the industry. Therefore all livestock and plant are available for purchase.
